Privacy & GDPR Compliance

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It's the core of Europe's digital privacy legislation and we use it as a benchmark because it is the strictest law on this topic. GDPR is a set of rules to give citizens more control over their personal data. It aims to simplify the regulatory environment for business so both citizens and businesses fully benefit from their private life in the modern world.

Strictly speaking every employment contact contains a clause which allow organisations to monitor work computers, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. So legally we are free to act. However, GDPR gives us a benchmark for what is accepted and the correct level of intrusion for both employee and employer.

AutomaticAudit does not divulge any private data of any employee. We only show Metadata collected at a very high level, enough for managers to have insight rather than know everything. We are also able to block all non-work-related data collection, for example, holidays, weekends, home usage and more can be hidden. AutomaticAudit can even completely mask the identity of every user in an organization.

This means that the system can allow managers to do all the relevant analysis work that needs to be done completely Subjectively.

The system has been designed to not reveal private data such as: private conversations, passwords, Bank details, social media activity etc. by default.

AutomaticAudit tools have been designed to supply managers the bigger picture; what it is employees have worked on without focusing on the nitty-gritty that managers simply don’t have time to deal with.

This was the first thing we agreed on when we set out to create the system.
